Job Title: Duty Medical Officer (DMO)

Qualification: MBBS
Experience: 0–5 years
Role Objective
To provide continuous medical cover and respond to clinical emergencies. The DMO acts as the primary point of contact for nursing staff and ensures the safety of all patients in the absence of the primary Consultant.
Critical Skills & Competencies
- Clinical Judgment: Ability to differentiate between stable patients and those requiring immediate escalation to ICU or Specialist care.
- Communication: Clear, concise handover skills (using the SBAR technique) to ensure continuity of care between shifts.
- Ethics: Strict adherence to patient confidentiality and hospital protocols.
Requirements
- Valid MBBS degree from a recognized university.
- Willingness to work in a rotational shift system (Morning, Night).
