As an Area Sales Manager, you are responsible for driving revenue growth from products and solutions within the assigned geography and customer segments, expanding market share, improving profitability, and building strong, long-term relationships with customers and channel partners to win and successfully execute project orders.

Achieve monthly targets for revenue, order booking and collections in line with the business plan for the allocated area.

Develop and manage a strong project pipeline to ensure sustainable short- and long-term growth.

Identify, onboard and grow new customers in the residential and commercial segments, while maintaining a focused top-customer portfolio.

Drive solution and value-based selling with builders, contractors, consultants and end customers.

Manage selected channel partners for project routing and stock orders, including timely payment collection.

Provide accurate forecasting and market intelligence on trends, competitors and customer requirements.

Engineering degree from a reputed institution; MBA in Marketing is an advantage.

7–10 years of sales experience, including at least 5 years in the electrical switchgear industry.

Strong expertise in project business; pure channel management profiles are not considered.

Solid technical understanding with the ability to present product and solution value propositions.

Proven discipline in reporting, forecasting and project tracking.

Fluent in local language, Hindi and English, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
