Staff accommodation and meals will be provided by Madhuban Eco Retreat, as per resort policy.
Work Base
Resort-based position. Candidate should be willing to stay at or near the resort and work during weekends, holidays and peak occupancy periods.
Role Summary
The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for managing the housekeeping team and ensuring that all rooms, guest areas, public spaces, linen, laundry and housekeeping stores are maintained as per resort standards. The supervisor will play an important role in guest satisfaction by ensuring that every room is clean, well-prepared and inspected before guest arrival. The role requires strong supervision, checklist-based working, staff training and coordination with reception, maintenance and service teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesRoom Readiness and Inspection
· Prepare daily room cleaning and check-in/check-out schedule.
· Inspect every room before guest check-in.
· Ensure rooms are clean, fresh, well-arranged and fully stocked.
· Check linen, towels, toiletries, water bottles and room amenities.
· Ensure bathrooms are hygienic and odour-free.
· Report and follow up on maintenance issues before room allotment.
Team Supervision
· Allocate work to housekeeping staff.
· Monitor daily attendance, grooming and discipline.
· Train staff on cleaning standards, guest handling and hygiene.
· Ensure staff follow checklists and timelines.
· Maintain discipline and positive team behaviour.
Linen, Laundry and Inventory
· Maintain linen stock register.
· Track towels, bedsheets, blankets, pillows and guest amenities.
· Coordinate laundry movement and quality checking.
· Prevent misuse, loss or damage of linen and housekeeping material.
· Maintain housekeeping store in an organised manner.
Public Area Management
· Ensure reception, dining area, pathways, verandas, common toilets and guest areas are clean.
· Conduct regular checks during the day.
· Ensure high cleanliness during group visits, events and peak occupancy.
Guest Service
· Handle guest housekeeping requests politely and promptly.
· Coordinate with reception for special requests.
· Ensure lost-and-found items are recorded and safely handed over.
· Maintain guest privacy and room security.
Eco-Retreat Standards
· Ensure waste segregation and cleanliness across the property.
· Encourage careful use of water, electricity and cleaning chemicals.
· Ensure the property remains natural, clean and litter-free.
· Support plantation, landscape and outdoor cleanliness activities when required.
Required Skills and Attributes
· Good knowledge of housekeeping operations.
· Ability to manage and train housekeeping staff.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Basic inventory and record-keeping skills.
· Good coordination with reception, maintenance and service teams.
· Polite and professional guest handling.
· Hindi required; basic English preferred.
Experience Required
· 2-5 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel, resort, guest house, serviced apartment or similar hospitality setup.
· Prior experience in supervising housekeeping staff, room inspection, linen management and guest-area cleanliness is preferred.
· Experience from informal dhaba setups will not be considered relevant for this role.
Work Timing
As per resort operations and occupancy. Candidate should be available during check-in/check-out and peak guest movement hours.
Salary
As per experience and resort policy.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
