Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician to join our maintenance team at our Nanjangud facility. The role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, motors, control panels, VFDs, PLC-based systems, sensors, transmitters, and field instruments.
- Install, calibrate, and maintain pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments.
- Carry out wiring, cable termination, panel assembly, and commissioning activities.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improving reliability and reducing downtime.
- Interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Assist in commissioning new equipment and plant modifications.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, calibration reports, and work orders in the maintenance management system.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, permit-to-work procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and company EHS policies.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in maintenance work areas.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance within a manufacturing, process, chemical, pharmaceutical, FMCG, or industrial plant.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge may be considered for trainee positions, depending on business requirements.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
