To strengthen its technology division, Irongate Corp is looking for an experienced and analytical Senior Software Analyst who can bridge business requirements with technical execution while contributing to software quality, performance, and strategic system improvements.
Position Overview
The Senior Software Analyst will play a key role in analyzing business processes, evaluating software requirements, supporting development teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of software applications and enterprise systems.
This position requires a combination of technical expertise, analytical thinking, stakeholder communication, and software lifecycle management experience. The ideal candidate should be capable of understanding complex business requirements, identifying system gaps, and working closely with developers, QA teams, and management to deliver efficient technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements for software projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate system requirements
- Prepare functional specifications, workflow diagrams, and technical documentation
- Work closely with software developers and QA teams during the development lifecycle
- Evaluate existing applications and recommend performance or usability improvements
- Monitor software performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolution activities
- Support software implementation, integration, and deployment processes
- Conduct system analysis and feasibility assessments for new projects
- Assist in defining project scope, timelines, and technical deliverables
- Ensure applications meet security, scalability, and performance standards
- Participate in testing, user acceptance validation, and release management
- Mentor junior analysts and support cross-functional collaboration
Required QualificationsEducational Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Software Engineering
- MCA
- Related technical discipline
Experience
- Minimum 4–7 years of experience in software analysis, business systems analysis, or software development environments
- Experience working with enterprise applications, SDLC processes, and software implementation projects preferred
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Knowledge of business analysis and requirement gathering methodologies
- Experience with SQL and database systems
- Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and software architecture
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project methodologies
- Ability to interpret technical workflows and system documentation
- Exposure to software testing and quality assurance processes
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools
Preferred Technical Exposure
- ERP or enterprise application environments
- Cloud-based systems and SaaS platforms
- Data analysis and reporting tools
- Knowledge of programming concepts or scripting languages
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
