About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented 2D/3D Artist – Interior Design to join our design team. The candidate will be responsible for transforming interior design concepts into accurate 2D drawings, detailed 3D models, and high-quality photorealistic renders.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of interior spaces, materials, lighting, furniture, proportions, and design aesthetics, along with proficiency in industry-standard 2D/3D design and rendering software.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed 2D floor plans, furniture layouts, elevations, sections, and working drawings.
- Develop accurate 3D models and interior scenes based on design concepts and drawings.
- Produce high-quality photorealistic renders for residential and commercial interiors.
- Create realistic materials, textures, lighting, furniture, décor, and architectural elements.
- Convert design concepts, sketches, mood boards, and references into compelling 3D visualizations.
- Prepare multiple design options and 3D views as required by the design team or clients.
- Make revisions to 2D drawings, 3D models, materials, and renders based on feedback.
- Ensure all drawings and 3D models maintain proper dimensions, proportions, scale, and detailing.
- Coordinate with interior designers, architects, project managers, and other team members.
- Maintain organized project files, models, textures, CAD drawings, and render outputs.
- Assist in preparing client presentations, design proposals, material boards, and visual concepts.
- Stay updated with current interior design trends, materials, furniture styles, rendering techniques, and visualization tools.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of interior design principles, space planning, materials, lighting, and furniture.
- Excellent visualization and creative problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and design concepts accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to take feedback positively and make quick design revisions.
Software Skills
Proficiency in relevant software such as:
- AutoCAD – 2D drawings and working drawings
- 3ds Max / SketchUp / Blender – 3D modeling
- V-Ray / Corona / Lumion / Enscape / D5 Render – Rendering
- Adobe Photoshop – Post-production and presentation
- Adobe Illustrator / InDesign – Presentation and graphic work
Proficiency in all software is not mandatory; expertise in the software relevant to the company's workflow will be preferred.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, 3D Visualization, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Relevant professional experience in interior design visualization or 3D architectural visualization is preferred.
- Strong portfolio of 2D drawings, 3D models, and interior renders is required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in residential and/or commercial interior projects.
- Knowledge of furniture modeling and interior detailing.
- Understanding of real-world materials and their visual properties.
- Experience creating photorealistic interior renders.
- Basic understanding of architectural and construction drawings.
- Ability to create presentation-ready visuals for clients.
