Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the Fasteners / Automotive Components industry, to ensure reliable operation and minimum downtime of electrical systems and production machinery including Cold Forging, Threading, Heat Treatment (HT) and Surface Treatment (ST) equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and production machinery.
- Maintain electrical systems of cold forging machines, header machines, thread rolling/threading machines, heat treatment furnaces and surface-treatment equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in PLC, HMI, VFD, servo drives, sensors, relays, contactors, motors and control panels.
- Attend machine breakdowns and ensure minimum production downtime through quick fault identification and rectification.
- Maintain and troubleshoot HT furnaces, heating systems, temperature controllers, thermocouples and electrical panels.
- Support electrical maintenance of surface-treatment/plating equipment, rectifiers, pumps, heaters, control panels and related systems.
- Inspect and maintain motors, cables, MCC/PCC panels, distribution boards, transformers, DG systems and compressors.
- Monitor machine electrical parameters and identify potential failures before breakdown.
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules and maintain PM checklists, breakdown records and maintenance history.
- Coordinate with Production, Mechanical Maintenance, Tool Room and Process teams to resolve machine-related issues.
- Maintain adequate stock of critical electrical spares and coordinate with Purchase for timely availability.
- Assist in machine installation, commissioning and modification projects.
- Ensure electrical safety, proper earthing, panel housekeeping and compliance with plant safety procedures.
- Support energy-saving initiatives and identify opportunities to reduce electrical consumption.
- Coordinate with external service engineers/vendors for PLC, drive, furnace and specialized equipment troubleshooting.
Required Qualification & Skills
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- 3–4 years of experience in electrical maintenance in a manufacturing/automotive/fasteners industry.
- Hands-on experience with PLC, HMI, VFD, servo drives, sensors, motors and control panels.
- Knowledge of electrical drawings, control circuits and troubleshooting.
- Experience with cold forging, thread rolling/threading, heat treatment and surface-treatment equipment is preferred.
- Knowledge of HT furnaces, temperature controllers, thermocouples and heating systems is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of industrial automation, PLC fault diagnosis and electrical safety.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and attend emergency breakdowns when required.

Ideal Candidate
A hands-on Electrical Maintenance professional with 3–4 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the fasteners industry, capable of independently troubleshooting electrical and automation issues across Cold Forging, Threading, Heat Treatment and Surface Treatment operations while ensuring maximum machine availability and minimum production downtime.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
