The Service Engineer will be responsible for managing all post-sales service requirements related to caps & closures supplied to customers. The role involves troubleshooting, attending machine breakdowns, ensuring smooth operations at client sites, and supporting machine installation & commissioning activities.
- Attend service disruptions and breakdowns at customer sites to ensure minimum downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and mechatronics issues related to machines used for caps & closures.
- Carry out machine installation, commissioning, and periodic maintenance activities.
- Provide technical support and training to customers for smooth machine operation.
- Prepare service reports, document breakdown analysis, and recommend preventive actions.
- Coordinate with internal teams for spare parts, technical updates, and service requirements.
- Ensure timely customer support and maintain high service quality standards.
- Travel to various customer locations across assigned regions (Mumbai & North India).
- Prior experience in machine breakdown handling, machine installation, maintenance, or after-sales service.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, mechatronics, pneumatics & automation.
- Problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
- Excellent communication & documentation skills.
