About the Role
We are hiring for a reputed client in Electronic City, Bengaluru, seeking a skilled and dedicated AC Technician (Operations & Maintenance). The selected candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems to ensure uninterrupted cooling and ventilation across the facility. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in maintaining air conditioning equipment and a strong understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain HVAC systems and air-conditioning equipment.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of Split ACs, Cassette ACs, Ductable Units, Package Units, and VRV/VRF systems.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical faults in AC systems.
- Monitor and maintain Chillers, AHUs (Air Handling Units), FCUs (Fan Coil Units), and ventilation systems.
- Check refrigerant levels, identify leakages, and carry out gas charging when required.
- Ensure optimum performance and energy efficiency of cooling equipment.
- Maintain maintenance logs, service reports, and inspection records.
- Coordinate with facility management and vendors for major repairs and servicing activities.
- Attend emergency breakdown calls and ensure minimal downtime.
- Follow safety procedures, statutory regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- ITI in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning / HVAC Technician Trade.
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is an added advantage.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC and air-conditioning maintenance.
- Good knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical controls, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
