Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer who can take complete ownership of firmware development across multiple embedded products. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in low-level firmware, RTOS, BLE, STM32, Nordic nRF52/nRF53, communication protocols, sensor integration, bootloaders, and debugging complex embedded systems deployed in harsh environments.
You will work closely with Hardware, PCB, Product, and Cloud teams while mentoring junior engineers and driving firmware architecture decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain firmware for Nordic nRF52/nRF53 and STM32 microcontrollers.
- Develop production-grade firmware using Embedded C and FreeRTOS.
- Design multitasking applications using tasks, queues, semaphores, mutexes, timers, and ISR handling.
- Develop and maintain BLE applications including GAP, GATT, advertising, scanning, and connection management.
- Integrate Cellular (LTE/GSM), GNSS, and Satellite communication modules.
- Develop hardware drivers for I2C, SPI, UART peripherals and multiple sensors.
- Implement secure bootloader, OTA/DFU firmware updates, flash management, and wear leveling.
- Develop Hardware Abstraction Layers (HAL) for reusable firmware architecture.
- Debug complex hardware/firmware issues using JTAG, SWD, Oscilloscope, and Logic Analyzer.
- Implement secure encrypted communication between embedded devices and cloud servers.
- Perform code reviews, maintain coding standards, prepare technical documentation, and mentor junior engineers.
- Collaborate with Hardware, PCB Design, Mechanical, Product, and Cloud Engineering teams.
Pay: ₹1,100,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
