Position: Quality Assurance/ Senior Officer

Preference will be given to candidates residing in or willing to relocate Ambernath, Badlapur, Kalyan, Dombivli, Thane, Nearby locations.

Experience:
3–5 years of relevant Quality Assurance experience

Job overview:
The Quality Assurance Officer / Senior Officer will be responsible for maintaining and improving Quality Assurance systems at the manufacturing plant while ensuring compliance with GMP, ISO, QHSE, and regulatory standards. The role involves managing QA documentation, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine Quality Assurance activities at the manufacturing plant.
- Prepare, review, and control SOPs, specifications, formats, and QA documentation.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO standards, QHSE requirements, and internal quality systems.
- Maintain manufacturing records, logs, and quality documentation.
- Support document control, CAPA, Change Control, and Root Cause Analysis activities.
- Review QC documentation and analytical data, including Gas Chromatography (GC), as per approved procedures
- Participate in internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.Prepare documentation related to ISO standards and sustainability initiatives (EcoVadis & SEDEX).Coordinate with Production, QC, Maintenance, and Admin departments to ensure quality, health, safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.Support continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of Quality Management Systems.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance, GMP, ISO standards, and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Experience in QA documentation, CAPA, Change Control, Root Cause Analysis, and document control.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Familiarity with GC and HPLC instruments is an added advantage.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry
