Role description
Core Technical Skills (Java & J2EE)
Strong Core Java Foundations: Solid understanding of object-oriented design, multithreading, concurrency, and data structures.
J2EE Web Component Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience developing and maintaining applications using Servlets, JSP, and Enterprise JavaBeans (EJBs).
Application Frameworks: Proven experience working within enterprise architectures (e.g., Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA).
Application Servers & Web Infrastructure
Application Server Management: Solid experience configuring, deploying applications (WAR/EAR files), and managing runtimes on enterprise application servers such as IBM WebSphere Liberty or JBoss/Tomcat.
Web Server Configuration: Familiarity with web server architectures (e.g., Apache HTTP Server, IBM HTTP Server) .
Front-End Development
Web Basics: Proficiency in building responsive interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (JQuery).
Modern UI Frameworks: Strong practical knowledge of Bootstrap or similar responsive design frameworks is highly advantageous.
Production Support & Troubleshooting
Advanced Diagnostics: Exceptional troubleshooting skills with a proven track proficiency in stabilizing high-availability enterprise systems.
Log Analysis & Monitoring: Expert-level ability to parse, analyze, and extract insights from application server logs, thread dumps, heap dumps, and system s to identify root causes.
Production Support Mindset: Experience handling Tier 2/Tier 3 incident management, writing technical root-cause analysis (RCA) documents, and coordinating hotfixes.
