We are looking for a skilled and experienced SOUS CHEF to join our kitchen team at Lantern Grove, a premium fine-dining restaurant in Trivandrum. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SOUTH INDIAN CUISINE, plating techniques, and kitchen hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle mise-en-place and basic prep for sauces, salads, grills, pastas, and main course items.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow food safety standards.
- Work efficiently under pressure during service hours.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a kitchen (hotel/restaurant preferred).
- Good understanding of kitchen cuisine and cooking methods.
- Willingness to learn and take instructions.
- Ability to work in a team and maintain a professional attitude.
