Job Description
A reputed Cardiac Care Hospital in Vadodara is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented IPD Billing Executive to manage billing activities for in-patient services and ensure accurate and timely processing of patient bills.
The ideal candidate should have previous experience in hospital IPD billing, good knowledge of billing procedures and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end billing activities for IPD patients.
- Prepare and process accurate patient bills based on services, treatments, medicines and procedures.
- Verify patient details, charges and billing information.
- Coordinate with nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, diagnostic and other departments to ensure accurate billing.
- Monitor patient accounts and ensure timely updating of charges.
- Handle admission, transfer and discharge-related billing processes.
- Coordinate with patients and attendants regarding billing queries and payments.
- Verify discounts, packages, deposits and adjustments as per hospital policies.
- Coordinate with insurance/TPA teams where required.
- Ensure all billing documentation is complete and accurate.
- Identify and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain proper billing records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with hospital billing procedures and policies.
Eligibility & Skills
- Any Graduate from a recognised institution.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in hospital IPD billing is mandatory.
- Candidates with experience in cardiac care or multi-speciality hospitals will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of hospital IPD billing processes.
- Familiarity with hospital billing software will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- English proficiency is mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, if required.
Salary
₹18,000 – ₹20,000 CTC per month
Salary will be based on the candidate's relevant experience, skills and suitability for the role.
