Job Requirements

The project Engineer will lead and support the development of new aerospace products from concept through production. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that new products meet performance, quality, cost, and regulatory requirements while adhering to aerospace industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development:
Drive the end-to-end development of aerospace components and systems, including design, prototyping, testing, and validation.
Translate customer and regulatory requirements into technical specifications.
Collaborate with design, Process planners and Assembly teams to ensure product integrity.
Project Management:
Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Coordinate with internal teams (BD, manufacturing, quality, supply chain) and Customers
Track project milestones and report progress to stakeholders.
Technical Documentation & Compliance:
Prepare and maintain engineering documentation including drawings, BOMs, and test reports.
Ensure compliance with aerospace standards such as AS9100.
Support certification and qualification processes.
Manufacturing Support:
Work with production teams to ensure manufacturability and scalability of new designs.
Conduct PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) reviews.
Resolve technical issues during pilot runs and production ramp-up
Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks.

Work Experience

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Aeronautical or Manufacturing Engineering.
Experience:
3–5 years of experience in aerospace product development and Project Management.
Hands-on experience with CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks) and SAP systems.
Familiarity with aerospace systems such as structures, interiors, or avionics is a plus.
Skills:
Strong understanding of aerospace materials, processes, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
Proficiency in tools like Solid Works, Excel, Power Point ( MS project is added advantage).
Certifications (Preferred):
PMP or any other equivalent certifications.
