We are a growing MEP engineering and contracting company specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), and Fire Protection systems for commercial, industrial, healthcare, and residential projects. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated AutoCAD Draftswoman to join our engineering team.
Job Summary
The AutoCAD Draftswoman will be responsible for preparing accurate 2D drawings for Plumbing, Fire Fighting, HVAC, and Electrical systems based on engineering designs, client requirements, and project standards. The ideal candidate should have strong AutoCAD drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work within project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for MEP services.
- Draft Plumbing, Fire Fighting, HVAC, and Electrical layouts.
- Modify drawings based on engineers' comments and client revisions.
- Prepare shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Maintain drawing standards, layering, and documentation.
- Coordinate with design engineers and project teams.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and applicable codes.
- Prepare BOQ support drawings when required.
- Organize and maintain drawing files and project documentation.
- Complete assigned drafting work within project schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or ITI in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Draftsmanship, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
- Good understanding of MEP drafting standards.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Plumbing and Fire Fighting drafting.
- Knowledge of HVAC and Electrical drafting.
- Experience working in consulting or MEP contracting companies.
