This is a ServiceNow ITSM developer + administrator role involving platform configuration, scripting, CMDB maintenance, workflow creation, and production support.
1. Development Responsibilities (Build & Configure in ServiceNow)
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for customizing and building solutions in ServiceNow:
- Creating and maintaining Service Catalogs (request forms and services)
- Designing Variable Sets and Workflows
- Building flows using Flow Designer
- Creating new fields on forms as per requirements
- Implementing validations using:
- UI Policies
- Client Scripts
- Writing backend logic using:
- Business Rules
- Script Includes
- Server-side scripts
- Creating reports and dashboards based on business needs
- Writing fix scripts / background scripts for data correction and troubleshooting
2. Administration & Support Responsibilities (Maintain & Troubleshoot Platform)
In this role, the candidate will also manage and support the ServiceNow platform:
- Working on ITSM modules:
- Incident Management
- Problem Management
- Change Management
- Asset Management
- Service Request Management
- Supporting CMDB (Configuration Management Database) and ensuring data is updated
- Handling Discovery of servers and network devices
- Ensuring CMDB stays updated using integration tools like:
- SCCM
- JAMF
- EPO
- Scalefusion
- Troubleshooting production issues
- Raising cases with OEM (ServiceNow product support) for platform issues
- Monitoring and resolving instance performance issues
3. Additional / Good to Have
- Basic knowledge of GRC module
- Understanding of CMDB-related integrations and other ServiceNow modules
4. Key Skills Required
- Strong hands-on experience in ITSM modules
- Experience in Service Catalog and workflow creation
- Knowledge of client-side and server-side scripting in ServiceNow
- Experience in CMDB and Discovery
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
