Conduct socio-economic surveys, social baseline studies, and Social Impact Assessments (SIA) for storm water drainage projects.
Identify social impacts, vulnerable groups, land acquisition, and Rehabilitation Resettlement (R R) requirements, and recommend mitigation measures.
Plan and conduct stakeholder consultations, public meetings, community engagement, and awareness programmes.
Coordinate with local communities, Government Departments, Urban Local Bodies, NGOs, and project stakeholders.
Work closely with engineering, environmental, GIS, and survey teams to integrate social considerations into project planning and DPRs.
Prepare social assessment reports, stakeholder consultation reports, R R plans, social safeguard documentation, and project presentations.
Attend client meetings, stakeholder consultations, and technical review meetings; support project approvals and grievance redressal.
Prepare progress reports and ensure timely submission of social safeguard deliverables.
Ensure compliance with Government policies, social safeguard requirements, contractual obligations, and QA/QC procedures.
Maintain proper documentation of consultations, grievances, mitigation measures, and project records.
