KRA's for Consultant (Legal)
Location: For Delhi/Noida
4–5 years in Real Estate Industry with strong exposure to Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code (IBC), NCLT proceedings, and real estate litigation.
Compensation: Salary/Fee is not a constraint for the right candidate.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
→ Handle insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings before NCLT involving real estate companies, projects, and assets under the IBC framework.
→ Handle civil and commercial disputes of the company including recovery suits, injunctions, title disputes, and specific performance matters before Civil Courts.
→ Drive arbitration and dispute resolution strategies in real estate transactions, JVs, and development agreements.
→ Liaise with and coordinate external counsel across ongoing litigation; ensure timely follow-up and keep management regularly informed.
→ Draft, review and negotiate agreements, legal notices, and documents connected to real estate transactions and disputes.
→ Represent before courts, tribunals, and quasi-judicial authorities on behalf of the company, as and when required.
→ 4-5 years of litigation experience with a clear focus on real estate matters.
→ Hands-on experience before NCLT in IBC-related proceedings, insolvency petitions, moratoriums, resolution plans involving real estate.
→ Experience in civil and commercial litigation like civil suits, appeals, and arbitration matters in the real estate context.
→ Understanding of real estate laws, IBC, Contracts, property rights, title due diligence, and transaction structuring.
Must be computer savvy.
