Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented, and student-focused Study Abroad Counsellor to guide prospective students through their international education journey. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of overseas education opportunities, admission processes, visa requirements, and student eligibility assessments. The role requires excellent counselling, communication, sales, and relationship-building skills to assist students in selecting suitable courses, universities, and study destinations while achieving enrolment targets.
Key Responsibilities :
Student Counselling & Profile Assessment
- Counsel prospective students regarding overseas education opportunities and career pathways.
- Conduct detailed assessments of student profiles, academic background, career aspirations, and financial capabilities.
- Recommend suitable courses, universities, and destinations based on student objectives and eligibility.
- Guide students and parents through the complete study abroad process.
Admissions & Application Support
- Provide accurate information regarding admission requirements, entry criteria, intake periods, and university and country selection.
Visa Guidance & Documentation Support
- Assist students on visa eligibility, documentation requirements, and application procedures.
- Stay updated on immigration policies, visa regulations, and compliance requirements for various destinations.
Sales & Conversion
- Convert inquiries into enrolled students through effective counselling and relationship management.
- Follow up with leads generated through marketing campaigns, referrals, and walk-ins.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly admission and conversion targets.
- Build trust and maintain long-term relationships with students and parents.
Client Relationship Management
- Deliver exceptional service throughout the student lifecycle.
- Address student queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain regular communication with applicants until successful enrolment and visa approval.
CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate student records and counselling notes in the CRM system.
- Track lead progress, applications, conversions, and visa outcomes.
- Generate periodic reports on counselling activities and admissions performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in Study Abroad Consulting, International Education, Student Recruitment, Admissions, or Overseas Education Services.
- Experience handling multiple international destinations and university admissions.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of international education systems, universities, courses, and admission procedures.
- Sound understanding of student visa requirements and immigration processes.
- Excellent counselling, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and conversion abilities.
- Ability to assess student profiles and provide tailored recommendations.
- High level of professionalism, empathy, and customer service orientation.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
