Job Description: Trainer -Structural Engineering.
Indovance is a fast-paced growing company that is looking for a dynamic individual that can work as a Trainer for Structural Engineering projects. (US Based)
The job description includes:
- Training Development & Delivery: Design, develop, and deliver training modules covering structural engineering fundamentals, load calculations, and design methodologies.
- Mentorship & Evaluation: Mentor junior engineers, review their work, and conduct regular assessments to track their learning progress
- Curriculum Updates: Keep training materials aligned with current industry’s best practices, environmental regulations, and local/international building codes
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with senior engineering teams to identify skill gaps and design specialized training to address them
- Software Skill: Must be Familiar with Structural software – Enercalc, Forte web, Revit Structure, AutoCAD, RISA, Tekla, etc
- Codes known - ASCE 7, IBC, ACI 318, AISC 360, AISC 341, AISI S100, NDS, TMS 402/602, ASCE 41, AWC SDPWS.
Desired Candidate
- Education – BE (Civil) 3 -4 years of structural engineering experience (including teaching or mentoring experience.
- Technical Skills: Expert in RCC and Structural Steel Drawings, Wood design, Residential and commercial projects
- Knowledge of Multifamily Framing, Load calculations, Finalize frame sizes, Beam load calculations, Shear wall design, Foundations, laterals. Steel connections
- Sound knowledge of all Structural Codes
- Attention to details, and an attitude to never compromise with quality.
Software Skill: Must be Familiar with Structural software – Enercalc, Forte web, Revit Structure, AutoCAD, RISA, Tekla, etc
