Job Title: Interior Draftsman
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Interior Draftsman to join our interior design team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, working drawings, and detailed interior layouts for residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality projects. The candidate should have strong AutoCAD knowledge and a clear understanding of interior design detailing and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Drafting & Documentation
- Prepare detailed Interior Working Drawings using AutoCAD.
- Create Floor Plans, Furniture Layouts, Ceiling Plans, Electrical Layouts, Flooring Layouts, and Elevations.
- Develop detailed Joinery, Furniture, Kitchen, Wardrobe, and Interior Detailing Drawings.
- Coordinate drawing revisions as per design and site requirements.
- Maintain drawing records and project documentation systematically.
Coordination & Execution Support
- Coordinate with Interior Designers, Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Vendors.
- Visit project sites when required to verify measurements and design implementation.
- Assist in preparing BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and material specifications.
- Resolve technical drafting issues during project execution.
- Ensure drawings comply with project standards and client requirements.
Quality Control
- Verify dimensions, levels, and construction details before issuance.
- Ensure all drawings are accurate, complete, and error-free.
- Update drawings based on site changes and final as-built conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Interior Drafting.
- Freshers with strong drafting skills may also apply.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory).
- Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or 3D software will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of interior materials, furniture detailing, and construction methods.
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and detailing standards.
