We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Marketing Manager who can strengthen our institutional presence, generate quality student leads, develop partnerships with schools and colleges, and effectively manage the marketing and telecalling activities of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities1. School & College Marketing
- Identify and approach schools, colleges, universities and other educational institutions for conducting career-oriented programs.
- Organise and coordinate career guidance sessions, seminars, workshops, orientation programs, webinars and awareness programs in schools and colleges.
- Represent Cerebro Education during institutional meetings, educational events, career fairs and student interaction programs.
- Develop relationships with Principals, Management Representatives, HODs, Placement Officers, Career Guidance Cells, Commerce Departments and faculty members.
- Regularly visit educational institutions and maintain strong relationships with existing partner institutions.
- Identify institutions having significant potential for student enrolments and develop institution-specific marketing strategies.
2. Institutional Tie-ups & Academic Partnerships
- Identify and secure tie-ups with colleges and educational institutions for delivering Cerebro's professional and skill development programs.
- Develop opportunities to offer our courses as:
- Integrated Courses
- Add-on Courses
- Value Added Courses
- Certificate Programs
- Skill Development Programs
- Professional Course Training Programs
- Conduct meetings and presentations before college management and academic decision-makers.
- Coordinate preparation and follow-up of proposals, presentations, MoUs and institutional partnership discussions.
- Follow up continuously with prospective institutions until partnerships are successfully concluded.
- Maintain a pipeline of prospective colleges and institutions and periodically report the status to management.
- Explore opportunities for long-term academic collaborations and strategic partnerships.
3. Lead Generation
- Develop and execute strategies for generating quality leads for:
- Professional Courses
- Commerce Programs
- Skill Development Programs
- Certification Programs
- Short-term Career-oriented Courses
- Generate leads through schools, colleges, seminars, career guidance programs, exhibitions, referrals, institutional partnerships and other offline channels.
- Coordinate with the digital marketing team for online lead-generation campaigns.
- Develop local marketing initiatives for generating enquiries and admissions.
- Build referral networks with teachers, students, educational consultants and other relevant stakeholders.
- Identify new and innovative lead-generation opportunities in the market.
4. Telecaller & Lead Management
- Supervise and monitor the performance of telecallers and admission counsellors.
- Review the efficiency and effectiveness of calls made by telecallers.
- Monitor:
- Number of calls made
- Calls connected
- Quality conversations
- Leads contacted
- Follow-ups completed
- Counselling appointments generated
- Walk-ins generated
- Applications generated
- Admissions converted
- Regularly review call recordings and provide feedback wherever required.
- Ensure that telecallers follow the approved calling script and communication standards.
- Train telecallers on course information, objection handling, follow-up techniques and conversion strategies.
- Ensure every lead is contacted within the prescribed turnaround time.
- Monitor ageing of leads and ensure that prospective students are followed up systematically.
- Analyse lost leads and identify reasons for non-conversion.
- Take corrective action wherever lead conversion is below expectations.
5. Admissions & Conversion
- Work closely with the admission counselling team to convert leads into enrolments.
- Develop follow-up strategies for high-potential prospective students.
- Assist counsellors in handling important or difficult student/parent enquiries.
- Conduct presentations and counselling sessions for students and parents whenever required.
- Ensure enquiries generated through institutional programs are properly captured and followed up.
- Track enquiry-to-admission conversion rates across different marketing channels.
- Identify the highest-performing lead sources and focus resources accordingly.
- Develop admission campaigns during peak admission periods.
6. Marketing Planning
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual marketing plans.
- Develop marketing strategies based on admission targets assigned by management.
- Plan institutional visits, seminars, promotional activities and lead-generation campaigns.
- Prepare an activity calendar for school and college marketing.
- Coordinate promotional campaigns around examination results, admissions, scholarship programs and new course launches.
- Study competitor activities, pricing, course offerings and promotional strategies.
- Identify emerging trends in professional education and student career preferences.
- Recommend new marketing opportunities to management.
7. Team Management
- Lead and coordinate the marketing, telecalling and admission support teams.
- Allocate targets and responsibilities to team members.
- Conduct regular performance review meetings.
- Motivate the marketing and telecalling teams to achieve monthly admission targets.
- Identify training requirements and arrange necessary training.
- Ensure coordination between marketing executives, telecallers, counsellors, faculty and management.
8. Reporting & MIS
- Maintain accurate reports of marketing activities and institutional visits.
- Maintain a database of schools, colleges and other prospective institutional partners.
- Prepare regular reports covering:
- Leads generated
- Lead source
- Institutional visits
- Seminars conducted
- Students attending programs
- Telecaller performance
- Counselling appointments
- Walk-ins
- Admissions
- Conversion percentage
- Institutional tie-ups
- Marketing expenditure
- Cost per lead
- Cost per admission
- Present weekly and monthly marketing performance reports to management.
- Analyse marketing data and recommend corrective measures wherever required.

Candidate ProfileEducational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Sales or Business Development will be an advantage.
- Candidates having experience in the education, EdTech, professional education, training or skill development sector will be preferred.
Experience
- Preferably 3–7 years of experience in Marketing, Business Development, Institutional Sales, Education Marketing, Admissions or a similar role.
- Experience dealing with schools, colleges and educational institutions will be a strong advantage.
- Experience managing telecalling or admission counselling teams will be preferred.

Job Objective
The primary objective of the Marketing Manager is to increase student admissions and strengthen Cerebro Education's institutional presence by developing relationships with schools and colleges, conducting high-impact student programs, creating institutional course partnerships, generating quality leads and ensuring effective conversion of those leads through the telecalling and admission teams.
Candidates with prior experience in Education Marketing, Institutional Sales, College Tie-ups, Student Admissions or Professional Course Marketing will be given preference.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
