CGC Landran is seeking a qualified, compassionate, and experienced Psychologist to provide psychological counseling, emotional support, and guidance to students. The selected candidate will play a vital role in promoting students' mental well-being, personal development, and academic success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students.
- Assess students' psychological, emotional, behavioral, and academic concerns.
- Offer guidance and support for stress, anxiety, relationship issues, academic pressure, and other personal challenges.
- Develop and implement student wellness and mental health awareness programs.
- Conduct workshops, seminars, and awareness sessions on stress management, emotional well-being, personality development, and related topics.
- Maintain confidential counseling records and documentation in accordance with professional ethics.
- Identify students requiring specialized support and make appropriate referrals when necessary.
- Work closely with faculty members, parents, and other stakeholders, where appropriate, to support student well-being.
- Handle crisis situations professionally and provide timely intervention.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive campus environment.
- Prepare reports and maintain relevant records as required by the institution.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Psychology (M.A./M.Sc. Psychology) from a recognized university.
- Specialization in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or Applied Psychology will be preferred.
- Additional certification or training in Counseling, Psychotherapy, or Mental Health will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in psychological counseling.
- Experience in an educational institution, college, university, hospital, or counseling center will be preferred.
- Experience in handling students and young adults will be an added advantage.
