Job Summary:
We are looking for an Assembly Technician to assemble Special Purpose Machines (SPM). The candidate should have hands-on knowledge of machine assembly, mechanical fitting, alignment, and measuring instruments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble SPM machines as per assembly drawings.
- Perform mechanical fitting and machine alignment.
- Read and interpret assembly and engineering drawings.
- Assemble linear guides, ball screws, bearings, cylinders, motors, gearboxes, and other machine components.
- Use Vernier Caliper, steel scale, and other measuring instruments to check dimensions and accuracy.
- Inspect assembled parts and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Support machine testing, commissioning, and trial runs.
- Identify and rectify assembly issues.
- Follow quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate with Design, Electrical, and Production teams.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience in SPM machine assembly.
- Ability to read assembly drawings.
- Proficiency in using Vernier Caliper, steel scale, and basic measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of mechanical fitting and alignment.
- Basic understanding of pneumatic components.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
