EVO Innovative Surfaces is seeking a dynamic, self-driven The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be independently responsible for driving B2B sales growth, expanding market presence, and securing product specifications across the regional design community. The core mandate of this role is to build deep, high-value relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, PMC Consultants, and Builders in Surat.
Key Responsibilities
1. Architect Specification & Networking
- Build and nurture long-term professional relationships with premium architects and interior designers across Surat.
- Conduct regular studio visits, deliver architectural presentations, and host continuous product launch samplings to keep the brand top-of-mind.
- Get Evo’s premium product range specified in the initial blueprint and design stages of premium projects.
2. Strategic Lead Generation & Pipeline Management
- Identify new business opportunities through intensive market mapping, site visits, and references.
- Track the progress of upcoming commercial, high-end residential, corporate office fit-outs, and hospitality projects in Gujarat.
- Manage the complete sales funnel from initial designer pitch to quotation, closing negotiations, and formal product orders.
3. Sales, Revenue & Account Closing
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue sales targets assigned by management.
- Formulate customized commercial quotations, negotiate project prices, and finalize deal closures.
- Coordinate directly with the internal Sales Coordinator and accounts team to facilitate timely client billing, order ledger matching, and payment collections.
4. Cross-Functional Project Coordination
- Ensure seamless communication between the project architects, site contractors, and internal operations.
- Coordinate with the regional warehouse and logistics staff to ensure timely dispatch and delivery planning for site execution.
- Provide on-site technical transparency or guidance regarding application installation parameters when requested by design clients.
Required Candidate Profile
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of hardcore B2B project sales or architect relation experience. Experience working within a trading, distribution, or manufacturing firm dealing in building materials is mandatory.
- Industry Domain: Prior exposure in selling luxury laminates, acrylic solid surfaces, engineered marble, premium wall claddings, or architectural finishes.
- Network Base: A strong, pre-existing local network among top-tier Surat architects and interior design firms is highly valued.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional client-facing presentation capabilities, strong negotiation skills, and a polished corporate communication style
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
