We're looking for a hands-on, people-first Play Area Manager to run the daily operations of our indoor play area at Kids of Our Universe, Kondapur. You'll be the person who keeps the floor running smoothly, the customers happy, and the space safe and well-maintained. From greeting families at the door to coordinating birthday parties to making sure the kitchen keeps up with demand, you'll own the full guest experience from start to finish.

What You'll Do:
Manage entries — check guests in, log entry times, and track each customer's in-and-out time. Monitor session times and politely notify guests when their play time is ending. Keep an eye on the floor to ensure a smooth, safe, and welcoming experience for everyone.
Greet and take care of seated customers, making sure they have everything they need. Be approachable and friendly — build rapport with families and create a fun, welcoming atmosphere.
Work closely with kitchen staff to make sure food and orders keep pace with customer demand. Help ensure orders go out accurately and on time during busy periods.
- Birthday Parties & Events
Talk with customers and take birthday party bookings and orders. Coordinate with external vendors — cake, decor, activities, and entertainment providers — to plan each event. Oversee parties from setup to wrap-up so every birthday is seamless and memorable for the family.
Keep the play area clean, safe, and damage-free at all times. Conduct regular checks of equipment and the facility, and arrange repairs or maintenance as needed. Proactively address wear, hazards, or issues before they affect guests.
What We're Looking For:
- Prior experience in management, hospitality, retail, restaurant, or customer service (play area or family-entertainment experience is a big plus).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills — comfortable juggling the floor, the kitchen, and events at once.
- Excellent communication and a genuinely warm, friendly personality, especially with children and parents.
- Reliable, hands-on, and able to stay calm and positive during busy, high-energy shifts.
- Attention to detail when it comes to safety, cleanliness, and maintenance.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays (peak times for families)
