HR Manager (Preference will be given to candidates who have past work experience in construction industry)
Position: HR Manager
Reports to: Director
Location: Guwahati
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and lead the HR department for a 200+ employee organization
- Statutory compliance (PF, ESI, POSH, Shops & Establishments Act, Professional Tax)
- Design and implement recruitment strategy across departments
- Build employee handbook, leave policy, and code of conduct
- Manage payroll oversight (in-house or via outsourced vendor)
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary processes
- Set up and run performance appraisal cycles
- Implement/manage HRMS software for attendance, leave, and payroll
Requirements:
- 10+ years HR experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership/generalist role
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour law and Assam-specific compliance
- Experience setting up HR functions in a growing company (not just maintaining an existing one)
- MBA in HR or equivalent preferred
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
