Job Summary : The DRO Operator is responsible for operating Digital Read Out (DRO) machines to perform precision drilling, milling, boring, tapping, and other machining operations on sheet metal components. The role requires interpreting engineering drawings, maintaining dimensional accuracy, and ensuring quality standards are met while following all safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate DRO-equipped milling, drilling, and machining machines for sheet metal components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Measure components using Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Maintain dimensional tolerances and ensure product quality.
