Job Title: Production Chemist – Cosmetic Industry
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Production Chemist to oversee and manage the manufacturing of cosmetic products. The role involves ensuring product quality, adherence to formulations, and compliance with industry standards while maintaining efficient production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute batch manufacturing of cosmetic products as per approved formulations and SOPs.
- Monitor and control production processes to ensure consistency and quality.
- Handle raw material dispensing, mixing, blending, and filling operations.
- Ensure proper documentation of batch records, BMR, and production logs.
- Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company quality standards.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) and R&D teams for product development and troubleshooting.
- Identify and resolve production issues, deviations, and process inefficiencies.
- Ensure proper cleaning, maintenance, and calibration of production equipment.
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the production area.
- Train and supervise production staff and operators.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in **Chemistry / Cosmetic Science / Pharmaceutical Science.
- 1–5 years of experience in cosmetic or personal care manufacturing.
- Knowledge of cosmetic formulations, raw materials, and stability.
- Familiarity with GMP, ISO standards, and regulatory guidelines.
