Key Responsibilities:
- Planning & Execution of the Project as per the contract schedule.
- Collaborate with Engineers , architects etc to determine the specification of the Project.
- Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
- Prepare project reports, schedules and plans as per requirements.
- Ensure that all necessary permits ,licenses, and approvals(Pre & Post Construction are obtained from Statutory bodies.
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
- Supervise the work of labours ,mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed.
- Responsible for correspondence /interaction with Govt Clients, Architects and Vendors for execution.
- Selection and procurement of construction materials, equipment and supplies as per the requirement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree may be preferred).
- Proven experience in project management, particularly in civil engineering or construction.
- Professional engineering license (PE) may be required in some cases.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction practices.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience in liaisoning with Govt Officers of PWD/CPWD/IDCO & other Govt Co-operations is highly desirable.
