We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Infection Control Nurse to join our Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) team and play a vital role in ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor the hospital's Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) program in accordance with NABH guidelines and national standards.
- Conduct regular infection surveillance and monitor Hospital-Acquired Infections (HAIs), including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Perform infection control rounds and audits across all clinical and non-clinical areas.
- Monitor compliance with hand hygiene, biomedical waste management, sterilization, disinfection, and isolation precautions.
- Educate and train healthcare professionals on infection prevention protocols and best practices.
- Investigate infection outbreaks and coordinate appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Participate in Infection Control Committee meetings and prepare surveillance reports, dashboards, and quality indicators.
- Collaborate with clinicians, nursing staff, microbiology, housekeeping, CSSD, and other departments to strengthen infection prevention measures.
- Monitor antimicrobial stewardship initiatives in coordination with the clinical team.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, statutory regulations, and hospital infection control policies.
- Support accreditation activities, internal audits, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to infection surveillance, audits, training, and corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (M.Sc. Nursing preferred).
- Valid State Nursing Council Registration.
- 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience, with experience in Infection Prevention and Control in a multi-specialty hospital preferred.
- Certification or formal training in Infection Control will be an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of infection prevention guidelines, surveillance methodologies, and quality standards.
- Familiarity with NABH standards and infection surveillance software is preferred.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
