Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily welding operations and manpower.
- Ensure welding work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor weld quality and coordinate with the QC team for inspections.
- Maintain production schedules and achieve daily targets.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of welding machines and equipment.
- Enforce safety procedures and workplace discipline.
- Train and guide welders on welding techniques and quality requirements.
- Identify welding defects and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain production and welding records.
- Coordinate with Production, QC, and Planning departments for smooth workflow.
Requirements
- Diploma/ITI in Welding, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in welding supervision.
- Knowledge of MIG, TIG, ARC, and other welding processes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and welding symbols.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Familiarity with quality and safety standards.
Preferred Skills
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Experience in fabrication and heavy engineering industries.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
