Senior Engineer – Quality (Paint Shop)

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor paint shop quality processes and ensure compliance with standard.
- Inspect surface preparation coating thickness, finish quality, gloss adhesion & color matching.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections of painted products.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions and paint specifications.
- Coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Handle customer complaints related to paint quality.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Knowledge of industrial painting process:
1. Power coating
2. Liquid Painting
- Ability to use inspection instruments
1. DFT meter
2. Gloss meter
3. Adhesion tester
4. Hardness Tester
5. Performance Testing
- Knowledge of defects analysis and troubleshooting
- Quality standards knowledge
Technical Expertise Required
- Paint Defect identification
Qualification
- Degree in Chemical or Mechanical background.
