Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman (Mechanical) with 4–7 years of experience in EPC projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and modifying detailed 2D engineering drawings related to mechanical and piping systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance with project specifications, and coordination with engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop 2D drawings using AutoCAD for mechanical and piping systems
- Create and modify General Arrangement (GA) drawings, layout drawings, and fabrication drawings
- Prepare and update piping isometrics, equipment layouts, and support drawings
- Interpret and work with P&IDs, engineering sketches, and design inputs from engineers
- Ensure drawings comply with project standards, client specifications, and industry codes
- Maintain drawing quality, accuracy, and revision control as per project requirements
- Coordinate with piping, mechanical, civil, and structural teams for drawing inputs and corrections
- Incorporate design changes and as-built modifications in drawings
- Support engineering teams during design reviews and project execution phases
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing records
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Certified Mechanical Draftsman
- 4–7 years of experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman in EPC / Oil & Gas / Industrial projects
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Good understanding of mechanical and piping drawings, layouts, and standards
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, GA drawings, and technical documents
- Familiarity with piping components, supports, and equipment layouts Preferred Skills
- Exposure to tools such as PDMS / E3D / SP3D (preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience working on multidisciplinary EPC projects
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in project environments
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
