Variety Vacations is a leading travel company based in Chandigarh specializing in luxury international holidays, customized travel packages, group tours, and corporate travel solutions. We are looking for an experienced Travel Operations Executive who can efficiently manage backend operations and ensure seamless travel execution for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Package Operations & Execution
- Handle end-to-end travel operations for packages finalized by the sales team.
- Coordinate and process bookings for hotels, flights, transfers, tours, visas, and activities.
- Ensure timely confirmations and accurate documentation for all travel arrangements.
- Manage detailed travel itineraries and ensure smooth execution of the travel plan.
2. Vendor & Supplier Coordination
- Communicate with international DMCs, hotels, airlines, and suppliers for availability, quotations, and confirmations.
- Negotiate or re-confirm services when required.
- Maintain strong relationships with travel partners across multiple destinations.
3. Itinerary & Package Processing
- Assist sales team in building packages and costing itineraries.
- Research destinations, hotels, and activities to create strong travel products.
- Ensure all itineraries are accurate, detailed, and client-ready.
4. Booking Management
- Manage reservations for:
- Hotels
- Flights
- Sightseeing
- Transfers
- Cruise bookings
- Insurance
- Maintain booking records and update CRM with all relevant information.
5. Client Support & Issue Handling
- Provide operational support to clients during travel if required.
- Resolve booking issues, schedule changes, or supplier concerns quickly and efficiently.
- Coordinate with sales and suppliers to ensure client satisfaction.
6. Documentation & Process Management
- Prepare vouchers, confirmations, and travel documents.
- Maintain accurate operational files and supplier communication records.
- Ensure bookings comply with company processes and timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in a travel agency operations role.
- Strong knowledge of international destinations and holiday packages.
- Experience working with DMCs, airlines, hotel suppliers, and tour operators.
- Ability to handle multiple bookings simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Familiarity with GDS systems (Amadeus / Galileo / Sabre) is a plus.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience handling international leisure packages (Europe, Southeast Asia, Maldives, etc.).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet quick turnaround times.
- Highly organized, proactive, and efficient in travel operations.
