About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple restaurants and cafés. The ideal candidate will ensure operational excellence, drive profitability, maintain exceptional guest experiences, and lead high-performing teams while upholding the brand's standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management
- Oversee the daily operations of multiple restaurant and café outlets.
- Ensure consistent execution of SOPs, service standards, and brand guidelines.
- Conduct regular operational audits and implement corrective actions.
- Drive operational efficiency and continuous process improvements.
- Ensure smooth opening, closing, and day-to-day functioning of all outlets.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop Restaurant Managers and outlet teams.
- Monitor staffing levels, scheduling, and manpower productivity.
- Conduct performance reviews and establish development plans.
- Foster a positive, high-performance work culture.
Guest Experience
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction across all locations.
- Resolve escalated guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement service improvement initiatives.
- Drive customer loyalty and repeat business.
Financial Management
- Achieve sales, profitability, and EBITDA targets.
- Monitor P&L performance for each outlet.
- Control food cost, beverage cost, labour cost, and operating expenses.
- Analyse business reports and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
- Drive local marketing initiatives in collaboration with the marketing team.
Food Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, health & safety, and statutory regulations.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness.
- Conduct regular compliance and safety audits.
Inventory & Procurement
- Monitor inventory levels and minimise wastage.
- Ensure efficient ordering and stock management.
- Coordinate with procurement and vendors for uninterrupted supply.
Business Development
- Support new outlet openings and operational setup.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity and guest experience.
- Benchmark against industry trends and competitors.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6–10 years of hospitality operations experience, with at least 3 years managing multiple restaurants or cafés.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, P&L management, food cost, labour cost, and inventory control.
- Experience in premium dining, café chains, QSR, or casual dining brands is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable travelling between outlets.
