We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales & Marketing Executive with experience in the innerwear/apparel industry. The candidate should have strong knowledge of distributor and retailer networks, market development, channel sales, and product knowledge related to men's, women's, and kids' innerwear. The role involves expanding market reach, building strong customer relationships, driving sales growth, and implementing effective marketing initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
- Identify and appoint new distributors and retail partners in assigned territories.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Conduct regular market visits to generate new business opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Ensure product availability and visibility across retail outlets.
Channel Management
- Manage distributor performance, stock levels, and order fulfillment.
- Coordinate with distributors to improve sales and market penetration.
- Resolve issues related to product supply, inventory, and customer service.
- Support retailers with merchandising and promotional activities.
Product Knowledge & Training
- Possess thorough knowledge of innerwear products, including fabric types, sizing, fit, styles, and customer preferences.
- Educate distributors and retailers about product features, benefits, and new launches.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions when required.
- Provide market feedback to the management and product teams.
Marketing Activities
- Plan and execute local marketing and promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate branding activities, in-store promotions, and display initiatives.
- Support trade shows, exhibitions, and dealer meets.
- Collect customer feedback and market intelligence to improve sales strategies.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Track sales performance and market coverage.
- Maintain records of customer interactions, orders, and collections.
- Provide regular updates on territory performance and business opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the innerwear, apparel, garment, or FMCG industry.
- Proven experience working with distributors, wholesalers, and retailer networks.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of innerwear products, fabrics, sizing, and market trends.
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop and manage distributor and retailer networks.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
