Position: Junior Interior Designer & Site Supervisor
Location: Kochi, Kerala
We are looking for a young, energetic and talented Interior Designer who is passionate about both design and site execution.
This is not a desk-only design role. The selected candidate will be actively involved in site supervision, measurements, vendor coordination, project tracking and design development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits and take accurate measurements.
- Prepare 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop 3D designs and visualizations using SketchUp, V-Ray, Lumion or similar software.
- Supervise interior fit-out works at project sites.
- Ensure labourers and subcontractors are working efficiently and according to plan.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers and contractors.
- Maintain project progress reports and records in Excel.
- Monitor material requirements and site progress.
- Report daily updates to management.
- Assist in preparing BOQs and project documentation.
- Support project execution from design stage to handover.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field.
- 0-3 years experience.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Knowledge of 3DS Max, SketchUp and 3D visualization software preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Kerala.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
Working Hours:
8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
However, project execution is deadline-driven. Candidates must be willing to remain on site when required to ensure completion of critical activities.
Overtime:
Overtime will be paid for work beyond regular working hours as per company policy.
Salary:
₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on skills and experience)
