In this role you will be responsible for building and sustaining partnerships with organisations to facilitate meaningful placement opportunities for students across academic programmes. The role involves active outreach, relationship management, coordination of placement processes, and alignment of organisational requirements with student competencies.
Responsibilities:

Identify, map, and engage with NGOs, foundations, CSR arms, social enterprises, think tanks, policy organisations, development sector institutions and corporates working in the social impact domain.

Conduct systematic outreach via email, calls, virtual meetings, and in-person visits to generate placement opportunities.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with partner organisations.

Act as a liaison between the placement office and recruiting organisations

Maintain accurate records of outreach efforts, responses, offers, and placement outcomes.

Track trends in social sector hiring, skill requirements, compensation norms, and emerging roles.

Represent the University at sector events, conferences, job fairs, and networking forums.

Assist in the on-campus placement activities.

Work closely with faculty and programme teams to understand student competencies and curricular strengths.

Prepare periodic reports on placement progress, sector engagement, and challenges.

Support compliance with University’s placement policies and timelines.
