Estimation & Billing Engineer – HVAC

2–5 Years (HVAC / MEP Projects)
Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in HVAC/MEP billing is preferred.
Job Summary
The HVAC Billing Engineer is responsible for preparing client bills, subcontractor bills, measurement sheets, quantity reconciliation, BOQ verification, and ensuring timely certification and payment for HVAC projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare client RA Bills and Final Bills based on work completed.
- Verify measurements with site engineers and consultants.
- Prepare and maintain Measurement Sheets (MB).
- Compare executed quantities with the BOQ and approved drawings.
- Prepare quantity reconciliation reports.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and clients for bill certification.
- Prepare subcontractor bills and verify work completed.
- Track certified bills, payment status, and outstanding invoices.
- Prepare variation claims, extra item bills, and change order documentation.
- Maintain billing records, invoices, and project documentation.
- Assist in project cost monitoring and budget tracking.
- Ensure billing complies with contract terms and project specifications.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of HVAC systems (VRF, Chillers, Ducting, Piping).
- Experience in BOQ preparation and quantity take-off.
- Knowledge of RA Billing and Final Billing.
- Understanding of tender documents and contract conditions.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS) and MS Office.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
