Curry and Hops is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations along with inventory and store management activities. The candidate will be responsible for handling financial records, vendor payments, stock monitoring, inventory reconciliation, and maintaining smooth coordination between kitchen, operations, and management teams.
The ideal candidate should have good accounting knowledge, inventory handling experience, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping activities
- Record sales, expenses, invoices, and vendor payments
- Handle cash reconciliation and bank reconciliation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
- Maintain proper accounting records and documentation
- Process vendor bills and payment follow-ups
- Monitor restaurant expenses and support cost control initiatives
- Verify POS sales reports and cash handling records
- Support payroll processing and staff reimbursement records
- Coordinate with management for budgeting and financial planning
- Maintain daily stock and inventory records for food, beverages, packaging, and restaurant supplies
- Monitor stock levels and inform management about low inventory
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and vendor deliveries
- Ensure proper storage of food and non-food items as per restaurant standards
- Follow FIFO (First In First Out) inventory practices
- Coordinate with kitchen and operations teams for daily stock requirements
- Track wastage, damaged stock, and expired items
- Prepare inventory reports and stock reconciliation reports
- Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconciliations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of store and storage areas
- Ensure proper documentation for inward and outward stock movement
Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and inventory management
- Experience with Tally, Excel, POS systems, and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Basic knowledge of GST and taxation
- Good organizational and reporting skills
Experience Required
- 2 to 5 years of experience in accounting
- Hospitality or restaurant industry experience preferred

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
