### **Job Title:** Badminton Pro Shop Manager
**Working Hours:** 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
**Job Type:** Full-Time
**Role Objective:**
The Pro Shop Manager is the primary expert and operational lead for the retail side of the Ruckus badminton facility. Working the 12 PM to 10 PM shift ensures the manager is present to handle inventory and administrative tasks during the quieter afternoon hours, while being fully available to drive sales, manage equipment services, and assist players during the peak evening rush.
### **Key Responsibilities:**
**Retail Operations & Sales:**
* Manage all daily pro shop operations, ensuring the retail space is clean, organized, and fully stocked.
* Advise players of all skill levels on the appropriate rackets, shoes, grips, and apparel to suit their game.
* Process customer purchases, handle returns, and manage the Point of Sale (POS) system.
* Reconcile the cash register and generate end-of-day sales reports at the close of the 10:00 PM shift.
**Inventory & Procurement:**
* Track and manage inventory levels for all pro shop items, including rackets, shuttlecocks (feather and nylon), grips, strings, and footwear.
* Coordinate with suppliers and management to procure new inventory, ensuring popular items are never out of stock.
* Conduct regular stock audits and manage the receiving and logging of new shipments.
**Equipment Services (Training Provided):**
* Undergo training to learn and eventually provide professional racket stringing services, maintaining high standards for tension accuracy and knot quality.
* Replace grips, install grommets, and perform basic racket maintenance for customers.
* Manage the queue for stringing and maintenance services to ensure timely turnaround, especially for players dropping off rackets during the evening batches.
**Customer Experience & Facility Synergy:**
* Serve as a knowledgeable and welcoming point of contact for members and guests entering the facility.
* Handle customer inquiries regarding equipment warranties, product specifications, and special orders.
* Collaborate with the front desk and coaching staff to promote pro shop merchandise to new students and academy players.
### **Qualifications & Skills:**
* Strong knowledge of, or a strong willingness to learn about, badminton equipment, brands, and technical specifications (weight, balance points, shaft stiffness, string types).
* Prior experience in retail management, inventory tracking, sales, or sports facility operations.
* **No prior stringing experience required:** Must have an aptitude for hands-on work and a willingness to undergo comprehensive on-the-job training for professional racket stringing.
* Familiarity with POS systems and spreadsheet software for tracking and reporting.
* Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
* Ability to work the required 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM schedule to align with peak court utilization.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
