About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on and responsible Plant Operations Manager to manage day-to-day activities at our manufacturing unit.
This position is ideal for someone who has worked in any production-based or engineering manufacturing setup and is confident in handling people, machines, and overall plant coordination.
You do not need to be from aluminium wire specifically—experience in a similar manufacturing environment is also suitable.
Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Plant Operations
· Oversee daily production activities and ensure smooth workflow.
· Coordinate between production, quality, maintenance, and stores teams.
· Monitor shift operations and ensure timely output.
2. Production Planning & Support
· Plan resources and manpower according to the production schedule.
· Support production teams in achieving daily and monthly targets.
· Maintain basic documentation and reporting.
3. Maintenance Coordination
· Work closely with the maintenance team for machine checks and breakdown support.
· Ensure machines and equipment are available and ready for use.
· Review maintenance requirements and follow-up with concerned teams.
4. Material & Inventory Management
· Check raw material availability and coordinate with stores/purchase.
· Monitor inward–outward movement of material.
· Maintain proper stock levels to avoid shortages.
5. Safety & Compliance
· Ensure that all employees follow basic safety rules and plant guidelines.
· Maintain a clean, disciplined, and safe working environment.
· Assist in preparing the plant for periodic inspections or audits by authorities.
(Note: Candidate does NOT need previous experience in managing audits— understanding of safety and plant discipline is enough.)
6. Team & Communication
· Manage operators, technicians, and contract manpower across shifts.
· Resolve day-to-day issues and maintain team discipline.
· Coordinate and update senior management on plant performance.
7. Process Improvement
· Identify small improvements that can reduce errors, delays, or wastage.
· Suggest ideas to improve efficiency and productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in manufacturing/industrial plant operations.
- Experience in metals/wires/cables/fabrication is an advantage
- Strong understanding of plant maintenance cycles, production workflows, and operational best practices.
- Ability to handle day-to-day coordination and documentation.
- Comfortable communicating in English.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
