Purchase Executive – Job Responsibilities (Hotel & Resort)
Position: Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities:
- Procure food, beverages, housekeeping, engineering, spa, and operational supplies as per departmental requirements.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and negotiate the best prices, quality, and delivery terms.
- Generate Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Maintain approved vendor database and develop new suppliers when required.
- Coordinate with Store, Accounts, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments for purchase requirements.
- Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and budget guidelines.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchases to avoid stock shortages.
- Verify received materials against purchase orders and supplier invoices.
- Conduct market surveys to identify cost-saving opportunities and better-quality products.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, quotations, contracts, and vendor communications.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding deliveries, pending orders, and payment-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with GST, taxation, and statutory procurement requirements.
- Analyze monthly purchase reports and support cost-control initiatives.
- Assist management in annual budgeting and procurement planning.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:

- Knowledge of Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Engineering, and General Store purchasing.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
