Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Maharashtra The Sales Engineer will work closely with customers to understand technical requirements, propose suitable LED lighting solutions, and support the sales cycle from initial inquiry to order closure. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing technical proposals, conducting product demonstrations, providing pre- and post-sales technical support, and coordinating with internal engineering and production teams to ensure customer needs are met. The role involves regular client visits, responding to technical queries, maintaining accurate records of leads and opportunities, and contributing to sales forecasts and market feedback. The Sales Engineer will also assist in training customers on product use and participate in trade shows, presentations, and other business development activities as required.
Skills required
- Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and Sales skills to translate technical features into clear customer value and drive business growth.
- Candidates should possess solid Technical Support and Customer Service skills to address inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and maintain positive client relationships.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written communication and effective presentation abilities.
- Candidates should ideally have knowledge of LED lighting or related electrical/electronic products and an understanding of industrial or commercial applications.
- A diploma or degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related field) or an equivalent technical qualification is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site, travel to customer locations, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using productivity tools (e.g., MS Office) and basic CRM or sales tracking systems is beneficial.
- Previous experience in technical sales or engineering roles within manufacturing or lighting industries will be an advantage.
Qualification: Btech/B.sc or any graduate
