About the Role
We are seeking an Educational Data Analyst Intern who will work on refining and enhancing our internal learning analytics systems.
This is not a theoretical analytics internship.
You will work with real academic data, real dashboards, and real student performance tracking systems.
Your focus will be on:
- Improving how academic data is structured
- Identifying meaningful performance trends
- Enhancing assessment tracking logic
- Supporting data-backed decision-making
Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Data Structuring
- Work with existing dashboard systems to understand data flow
- Review and refine how student data is stored and categorized
- Ensure clarity and consistency in academic data structures
2. Progress & Trend Analysis
- Analyze student performance data across:
- Tests
- Assignments
- Syllabus progress
- Participation patterns
- Identify recurring academic patterns
- Highlight early-warning indicators
3. Assessment Analytics
- Evaluate current assessment methods
- Suggest improvements in assessment tracking logic
- Study correlation between effort, time, and outcomes
4. Insight Reporting
- Prepare structured internal summaries
- Convert raw data into clear academic insights
- Support mentors with meaningful interpretation of performance data
5. System Improvement Contribution
- Suggest refinements in dashboard visualization
- Identify inefficiencies in data logging processes
- Contribute to improving learning analytics workflows
6. AI-Supported Analytics Exploration
- Assist in exploring AI-assisted analysis models
- Evaluate potential automation in performance monitoring
- Support development of predictive academic indicators (basic level)
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Currently pursuing or recently completed:
- B.Tech / M.Tech
- B.Sc / M.Sc (Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science)
- MCA / BCA
- Strong analytical and logical thinking
- Comfort working with structured data
- Basic familiarity with dashboards or visualization tools
- Curious about learning analytics and education systems
Technical Exposure (Preferred but Not Mandatory)
- Google AI Studio / React dashboards
- Firebase or similar data storage
- Python / JavaScript basics
- Charting libraries or BI tools
- Spreadsheet-based analysis
