Job Title: D. Pharma / B. Pharma Intern / Pharmacist – Dermatology Clinic
About the Role
We are looking for a D. Pharma or B. Pharma qualified candidate, final-year student, or pharmacy intern to support our dermatology and aesthetic clinic.
The primary responsibility of this role will be to assist with the dispensing of medications prescribed by our Dermatologist, while ensuring that medications are handled and dispensed appropriately in accordance with applicable pharmacy and regulatory requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacy student or recent graduate who is looking for practical exposure in a professional dermatology and aesthetic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications as directed by the clinic's Dermatologist.
- Verify prescriptions and ensure the correct medication, strength, dosage, and quantity are provided.
- Maintain appropriate records of medications dispensed.
- Ensure medications are stored, handled, and organized properly.
- Monitor medication inventory and inform management when stock needs replenishment.
- Check medication expiry dates and maintain proper stock rotation.
- Follow all applicable pharmacy, medication-dispensing, and clinic compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with the Dermatologist and clinic team regarding prescriptions and medication availability.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and prescription information.
- Assist with basic pharmacy-related administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
- D. Pharma or B. Pharma qualification preferred.
- Final-year D. Pharma/B. Pharma students or pharmacy interns may also be considered, subject to applicable regulatory requirements.
- Valid registration/license/certificate, where required by applicable law.
- Basic understanding of prescription medications and safe dispensing practices.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Prior experience in a dermatology, aesthetic, pharmacy, or healthcare setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
