About the Role
EduSkills is looking for a dynamic and student-focused International Program Counselor to promote global education, student mobility, internship, and immersion programs. The counselor will be responsible for conducting one-to-one counseling sessions, group counseling sessions, college outreach activities, and online awareness sessions for students and parents. The role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for international education, and willingness to travel extensively to partner institutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Counseling
- Conduct one-to-one counseling sessions for students interested in international programs, internships, and global immersion programs.
- Understand students’ academic background, career goals, and financial considerations, and guide them toward suitable international opportunities.
- Counsel students and parents regarding program structure, eligibility, application process, scholarships, travel, accommodation, and visa-related requirements.
- Maintain accurate counseling records and follow-up status in the CRM or reporting system.
Group Counseling & Awareness Sessions
- Conduct group counseling sessions and seminars at colleges, universities, and training institutions.
- Deliver presentations on Global Innovation Programs, Student Mobility Programs, International Internships.
- Address queries from students, faculty members, and parents during interactive sessions.
- Coordinate with institutional placement cells, international relations offices, and faculty coordinators for scheduling sessions.
College Visits & Outreach
- Travel to assigned colleges and universities for on-campus counseling and promotional activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with academic leaders, placement officers, department heads, and international offices.
Online Sessions
- Conduct online counseling sessions and webinars for students across different regions.
- Schedule and manage virtual meetings using platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams.
- Follow up with interested students after online sessions to support registration and onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
- 1–4 years of experience in study abroad counseling, international program counseling, admissions, education consulting, or student outreach.
- Freshers with excellent communication and presentation skills may also apply.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Hindi and regional language will be an advantage).
- Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
- Ability to counsel students with empathy and confidence.
- Good interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and online meeting platforms.
- Ability to work independently and manage travel schedules effectively.
Travel Requirement
- Frequent travel to colleges and universities across assigned regions/states.
- Willingness to travel for events, student orientations, and institutional meetings.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
