Job Summary
The Assistant HR Manager supports the HR Manager in overseeing daily human resources operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws and company policies. The role helps create a positive work environment and ensures efficient HR processes.
Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Staffing
- Assist in workforce planning and recruitment activities.
- Coordinate job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and hiring processes.
- Support onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
Employee Relations
- Address employee concerns and grievances professionally.
- Promote positive employee engagement and workplace culture.
- Assist in conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures.
Performance Management
- Support performance appraisal processes.
- Monitor employee performance and development plans.
- Assist managers in implementing performance improvement initiatives.
HR Administration
- Maintain employee records and HR databases.
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation.
- Ensure accurate attendance, leave, and personnel records.
Compensation & Benefits
- Assist in payroll coordination and benefits administration.
- Support salary reviews, incentive programs, and employee welfare initiatives.
- Respond to employee queries regarding compensation and benefits.
Compliance & Policies
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company regulations.
- Assist in developing and updating HR policies and procedures.
- Support audits and statutory compliance activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–7 years of HR experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Experience with HRIS and MS Office applications.
